Speculative nights, low lighting, images lacking exposure, appearing mostly through the filters of other lenses, iPlay has moved between venues and cities, but returned to Brooklyn for another night after a prolonged period of operating somewhat on probation: off-record, unlisted, and largely circulated by word of mouth.
The night started with experimental sound performances by Megan Rosengarten and Brian Wenner, leaving the audience washed over by fog, some even laying across the floor. Jet Le Parti followed with a headline live set, performing material from his most recent release, Listening Post (2026), a noise-techno drone project. Transitioning into an afterparty, the night continued at speed, with performances from ALL EXITS, Sydfalls, Doula, and skoglund.
Momentarily re-exposed, iPlay.nyc set the tone for the underground nightlife scene in New York City, one that can only be caught if you’re fast enough to keep up.
